We will always be upfront with you. A small number of items require specialist disposal that goes beyond what commercial waste centres and skip operators can legally handle. If any of these are in your garage, let us know when you book and we can advise.
Requires licensed specialist removal. Common in older garage roofing sheets and boards.
Propane, butane, and LPG bottles must be returned to the supplier or a licensed gas handler.
Oils, solvents, and chemical containers need specialist hazardous waste collection.
Most skips and councils refuse tyres entirely. They require a licensed tyre disposal site.
Tins with wet or liquid paint cannot go to standard waste centres. Dried paint tins are fine.
Pressurised extinguishers must be discharged and recycled through a specialist provider.
Not sure if something on this list is in your garage? Just mention it in the notes when you book and we will advise before we arrive. In most cases we can point you in the right direction for getting it sorted ahead of our visit.
